La playa.

We took Luna and Minnie2 to Arenal d'en Castell for a pootle along the beach. Initially it looked like the area was deluged by early tourists, but on closer inspection, all the cars along the road belonged to the same local car hire firm. Cheap parking for them until the season begins - cheeky. We walked along the beach boardwalk, seeing very few people walking, all in coats and scarves (it was a lot colder than it looks), and a couple of hardy souls sitting in the sand, also fully clothed. Walking back to the car along the top road, we saw many unfinished villas abandoned years ago when the money ran out, now sporting grafitti and Se Vende signs from estate agents. A lot needs to be done to smarten up the place before the touristic hordes descend in May.
