Tarn Crag (Longsleddale)
We went down to Longsleddale today and walked Tarn Crag and Grey Crag - notoriously boggy fells, and despite February being a dryish month, it was still pretty damp underfoot - in parts you really had to pick your route with care.
The survey tower on the top of Tarn Crag was built when Haweswater was dammed, it acted as a survey tower for the construction of an aqueduct carrying the water to Manchester. I thought mono brought out the industrial feel.
