I went to an International Women’s Day event in the Parliament today for work. What a great atmosphere. All the seats for Members of the Scottish Parliament were filled with women from across Scotland in all of our diversity. 

You know the phrase if you can’t see it, you can’t be it? It was energising to see the Parliament brimming with such enthusiasm and to hear from some very talented young women. 

It’s also one of the last events for the current First Minister. Whoever gets the job has mighty big shoes to fill.
