Hibiscus

Today we spent quietly, enjoying the sunshine in the garden of our hosts A and D.  Their garden is beautiful, with a pool as its centrepiece and couldn't be more different from our English garden if it tried!  Colour is provided by flowering plants in large containers: here I've photographed the three varieties of hibiscus that look at me when I relax on a lounger.
This evening we watched 'Where the Crawdads Sing' at the recommendation of A and D , who have seen it at the cinema but were happy to watch it again -  a fantastic film.
In other news: my wretched leg wound is finally properly on the mend, only four weeks after it was inflicted and for several days now has not even required a dressing.  It still looks awful though...
