Take two
To Kelso again, for the potato day and green fair. Resisted buying any potatoes, or any other plants for that matter. Enjoyed looking round the 'green' stalls, but we were remarkably restrained and brought home only a heavy seeded sourdough loaf - absolutely delicious! Bumped into Mouldy again (for the second time in a week), and found several other friends in the refreshment area, where we all chatted over coffee.
Before leaving we stopped to chat with G, a friend who carves and turns wood. He'd had a good morning, and when we'd passed him earlier had been too busy to talk.
On the way home filled up the tank with diesel at a garage selling it 12p per litre cheaper than in Berwick. May be worth going to Kelso more often!
