The Abbey

Good intentions to tackle several things on the 'to do' list were soon forgotten when MrM suggested going to Potato Day in Kelso. He'd just seen an advert for it on Facebook. We haven't been for several years (having nowhere to grow potatoes), but decided to go today as it's quite a social event, and we'd likely meet a few friends.

A pleasant trip to Kelso, where it didn't take long to discover that Potato Day is tomorrow. Ah well! We had a nice walk by the mighty Tweed, a wander through the town, and found a café for coffee and cake on the way back to the van.
