Thoughts on being a robin!

“I think I heard somewhere that us robins are Britain’s favourite bird.
Well, that’s all very nice but are they aware of all the trials and tribulations that we have to go through!!
Take today for example. More snow! I thought this was meant to be spring. My thoughts were turning to “romantic matters” but now that all has had to be put on hold as I try to find food beneath the white stuff.
Then there’s camouflage. Lots of animals benefit from camouflage e.g. for protection from predators, but not us as you can see in the photo. I’m hardly hidden am I!!
I could go on but just one final thought. Just why are we often on Christmas cards but never on Easter ones!
