At the end of the day

Another bright but very cold day.
Rather lovely light looking east towards Mormond Hill tonight and rather fitting I think.
In the afternoon, we attended a humanist memorial service for a friend who died aged 73.
He had been ill with motor neurone disease for a number of years then developed terminal cancer and he died peacefully at home.
He never complained and was always interested in and caring for others. A really lovely person.
