Last Hoorah!

Well not quite but I thought it worth a record of the Amaryllis now in full bloom. Looking from above you can see all eight ‘trumpets’. The first one, bottom right, is now starting to wilt a bit so it seemed a good time. 

To my amazement, when I looked closer, I could actually see another bud yet to open. Can you see it?

It’s certainly been a splendid plant, we’ve enjoyed its multiple blooms over quite a number of days and I would say we’ve at least another week to continue enjoying them. 

A cold but sunny day with the usual Tuesday morning Pilates followed by lunch at the Bingley Garden Centre, as it is now called,  in the next village.
