we’re next!

This is what the family woke up to in NE Somerset this morning. Great excitement especially for Eda as her school was closed. She’s stayed at home with daddy working from home whilst Jude went to nursery and Grace to work. ( Don’t envy them on the bike today)

We meanwhile had a canal walk. Getting the bus to Granby (which went all over the place) and walking back to Bingley along the Leeds - Liverpool canal side. Always interesting seeing the many geese, mainly Greylags,  but also everyone’s back gardens! 
Despite a milky sun it was perishing and we rewarded ourselves with hot coffee and a bacon butty (again) at the Five Rise Cafe before returning home.
Since getting home there have been some fine flurries of snow but the worst is meant to arrive here tomorrow and into Friday.
