Samlesbury Hall

A beautiful sunny morning encouraged Mr MD and I to have a day out.   We chose to visit Samlesbury Hall, Preston, somewhere we haven't been for some time.   Built in 1325, the Hall - said to be haunted - is steeped in fascinating history and still retains its original typical black and white exterior.  Whilst there we enjoyed Waffles with Maple Syrup in Dottie's Wafflery (see extras).   Delicious.
