2023 Friday — What’s for Dinner?

Our daughter Deidre (we call her Deed) has been staying with us since Wednesday evening (long story, for another day). This has been quite a week for all of us. Going out to dinner was very appealing. The three of us piled into the car in search of dinner.

Then the obvious question, “Where do you want to go?” Well, I didn’t have a doubt that I wanted to go to Filippi’s in Norco. I’m always a “yes” for Italian cuisine. I could tell by the response in our car that Filippi’s was not a unanimous “yes.” So, next question, “What are some other options?”

Mr. Fun said, “How about Sizzler?” and the immediate raves and yeses in our car directed us to our destination. Steak, baked potato, tossed salad, and sautéed mushrooms not only sounded delicious, it was! We left quite satisfied.

Earlier that afternoon our house had a blockage in a drain pipe that drains the bathtub, the shower, and both toilets and very quickly both bathrooms were flooded; what a mess! This has been a Friday I don’t want to remember.
