Rome Day 2

Room service breakfast then out for more exploring. Booked a table for dinner en route in a little restaurant up a dimly lit street that we couldn’t get into last night. On to the Pantheon. Mind blowing construction with open roof. Lunch of pasta and delicious, simple sauce then some successful shopping. A spritz stop on our way back to the hotel for a snooze. Decided to stop by the Trevi fountain before dinner to see it at night. Timed it just right as a guy proposed to his girlfriend. Fortunately she accepted as the crowd cheered and clapped.Glad we had made reservations for dinner as the food was delicious. Seemed like a very small (very busy) family run affair. Second tiramisu 4.5 out of 5. Delicious but very sickly.
