Perthshire the Magnificent.
I love that its not the Cairngorms, Glencoe, or the Trossachs. I very much love those places too, especially Cairngorm but I love the empty, slightly rough round the edges, overlooked feel of here. Maybe its my Pennine roots!
Glorious night out under a starry starry sky, a nd a great day of meandering about, lookingg for the most obscure things we could find on the map, jumping bogs, scrambling up rocky lumps and a quick dip in the lochan. 
Once cold toes couldnt be ignored anymore a yomp down the hill back to the bikes. And 20 minutes later, home, kettle on, day off won.
