Awake early…..

Blurry sunrise through the glass bricks in our bedroom.

The storm from last night finally settled in the wee hours and a lovely warm day arrived to dry stuff out. The lapa looks a bit like a junk store filled with lots of soggy bits and pieces.

Least of our worries though as we have been waiting for the results of a biopsy from Shiv’s groin.

An aggressive melanoma was not what we wanted to hear, but to be honest, we suspected that it wouldn’t be good news.

Not a great prognosis given that it spreads quickly and has no boundaries in terms of where it moves.

Thankfully it shouldn’t cause too much pain, but changes in behaviour may happen.

We are hoping for the very best for our wee girl and will be making the most of the time we still have together.
