End of the day

There has been no power at our offices since the storm on Tuesday night that took out a transformer that plunged the whole suburb into darkness.

Two meetings done, I headed home again to get some work done, so glad we chose to go the solar route.

Arnie played golf in scorching heat and didn’t feel like going out again this evening, so we ordered in a fish pie and sat in the garden while the sun went down.

And just like that the day was done.
