All white

I know it was forecast, but we good citizens of Surrey like to think it doesn't snow down here. Except it did today. A very wet, heavy snow. It's currently being washed away by rain and hopefully that's it for the moment but it was a nuisance whilst it lasted. I had planned to go to see the unfortunately named film Aftersun, but decided not to risk either myself or the car on the snowy roads. Oh what a timorous beastie I am. I took the blip photograph first thing this morning soon after I got up whilst the snow was still fresh.

I therefore holed up in my office and spent much of the day on my computer researching and writing various bits and pieces. It was quite pleasurable.
