Lost in Translation

There are hundreds of thousands of English speaking expats living in Istanbul, many of whom have put down roots and are now completely bilingual. So why do companies insist on doing their own translations?

This coffee machine was outside the airport. Another sign, at Security, said "Disabled and pregnant people are privileged." Now, truth to be told, I did feel privileged to be pregnant, but I don't think the Aviation Agency shared the feeling.
