Pleeeeaase!
Just a little of the lamb your dishing up!
She didn’t get any!
Back at school today and I got a lovely welcome from my students - even a hug from one. :)
At lunch Rachel and I went to visit Barbara. Her coal fire was lit and it was lovely. (So much of it reminds me of Uncle Jim and Aunt Lucy’s!). We enjoyed watching the snow swirl around as we chatted next to the fire.
On the way back we bumped into Judith. Another reminder of happier times!
Back at work and we sat to have our team meeting. I don’t know what it was exactly but I just felt I didn’t have the energy to listen to their loud talking. And then I just really didn’t know if I could ever muster up the energy for all the other ‘crap’ that goes along with this great job! I just don’t know that I want it any longer. Why must we always be pushing the children to do more and more and more. I just don’t agree with it.
Worked till just gone 5 then left to collect dogs and walk.
Maybe it was the lack of sleep last night maybe it was the no sun grey freezing cold day. But I just wanted to disappear.
Scout did a fantastic job this evening of kissing me and pushing me and playing with me and cheering me up while we watched ‘The Piano’ from Birmingham. :)
