I LOVE DIRT

I tried a longish walk (for me) today and ended up at Filey Dams - a small Nature Reserve on the edge of a housing estate.

This Mute Swan made a beeline for me - so this has to be the Blip of the Day !
Actually he was steaming out of the water and heading for the hide so that he could cover himself with mud.

Also present were Greylag Geese, Black-Headed Gull, Pheasant, Coot, Moorhen and Mallard but no sign of the resident Barn Owl.
