Green-Winged Teal

I had a wonderful outing with WRPerry this morning.  It was very cold, but we were prepared.  The wind kicked up when we were out on the boardwalk at Huntley Meadows and after determining that there wasn't much to see except a couple of muscrats (see extra) and a few of these beautiful ducks, we headed over to Dyke Marsh along the Potomac where we encountered a beautiful Red Shouldered Hawk (also in extra) and a Barred Owl who was snoozing away and quite well hidden, so no pic.
