Girl Power!

No school today, and so J and her friend were out early and by nine o’clock they had built this ‘ person’ on the lawn. Must say it made us laugh. Two sixteen year olds. Now young ladies.Think they will go far!
I took the photo before it melts as it is now thawing fast.

All photos taken through the windows as I have no intention of going outside at the moment. As it is Flower Friday I included the vase of daffodils I have in the kitchen.
The pigeons are up on the roof waiting for someone to clear the feeders.
No takers for the swing seat!
The trees do look beautiful.

It hasn’t been much fun for those stuck for hours on the M62 over the Pennines, and were rescued by Mountain Rescue Teams. Mind you we had been warned not to travel unless absolutely necessary.
I remember delaying our holiday to Cornwall when the Beast From The East struck a few years ago.
