Snow Leopard Mating Rituals

Astonishingly we spent all morning watching yesterday’s two snow leopards mating then resting or playing with each other. 5 times the male mounted the female and they can continue to mate for between 1 and 6 days apparently, before returning to their own territories. They are so beautiful, even from 600m away! With their camouflage it is so difficult to focus and the camera is having a hard time! 
I am not feeling 100% since lunch, the altitude of 3,800m is having a negative effect on my well being! Sleep wasn’t easy last night either. We are so lucky, we have overheard conversations about people coming every year for several years and this is the first time they have seen the leopards mating.
