The Lake Again!

A snow day!  Blue skies and fluffy clouds plus a covering of snow down to valley level .... first thing this morning.  Unfortunately the car was in for a service so my jaunt into the hills was delayed a few hours, in which time the snow line retreated up by a couple of hundred metres where the sun could reach.   Still a beautiful scene by the lake and elsewhere.  The main picture includes the Tyn y Cornel hotel, a very special place to stay.  An extra pic of the Pen y Bont, a slightly less extravagant hotel at the foot of the lake.  I returned via Craig yr Aderyn where I gave Meg a walk before picking Bella up from Jamie on the way home.  He's away visiting Clara and family for the weekend before she joins him here next week.  

This morning while the car was being serviced, was about admin.  This afternoon I pottered in the greenhouse, mostly cleaning up and checking over young plants that had overwintered under the greenhouse benches.   All looking good, very few losses.  Both dogs had a run at the ball field before tea and both dogs are now sleeping happily alongside me :-)  Evening all.
