WE LOVE SILLY SATURDAY!

Hello Lovely Blippers,

We were really excited earlier in the week when it started snowing and Yosef the Yeti said he was looking forward to today so that he could go out in the snow but it has all disappeared - and moved up north, so we understand.   Today is just another cold and grey day - so we were very sad and wondered what we could do.

We heard that Mrs. HCB was going out to have coffee with a new friend from her Church, called Robyn - a lady - not a man - so we thought we could go with them, but Mrs. HCB wasn’t keen on us going because Robyn might think she was a little “off the wall” - but how could anyone possibly think that?  After all, don’t all old ladies have a stash of soft and cuddly toys?  Anyway, as that was off limits, it was back to the drawing board for a think as to what we could do today.

Mrs. HCB has been saying for a long time that she needs to clear out her airing cupboard, so we said we would help her and get warm in the process.  However, that did not appeal to Yosef, so he said he would just stay long enough for a photograph to be taken - because as you know, he and Penny Penguin are more used to the cold than heat - and the airing cupboard is very warm and cosy.

Some of us climbed up onto the towels and others onto the sheets, and then lots of us got in between the slats and waited until Mrs. HCB appeared to take our photograph.  We think she was in what she calls her “Quiet Room” but that’s a place for another Silly Saturday.  

After Mrs. HCB had taken our photograph, Yosef and Penny ran off and decided that the conservatory was the coolest place but the rest of us enjoyed our time snuggling up together in the airing cupboard.  If it snows again, we will definitely be going out to have a snowball fight, but until then, we will just have to dream about it.

We hope you all have a good weekend - as we are staying in with Mr. HCB, we might ask him to make us hot chocolate with marshmallows, because you know we all love that little treat and if Mrs. HCB is out, we are sure we can persuade him to give us more marshmallows!

Have a good weekend and stay safe and warm - now we know the warmest place in the house, we might just think about sleeping in the airing cupboard - now that would be silly, but we think Admirer would say, “Well done, Gang, that’s silly enough for me!”
