Storm Otto Casualty

Last month, when Storm Otto blew through, this hay rack was removed from the field behind our house and deposited in the approach road - fortunately it is not a road that carries traffic - apart from tractors and a few lots of parked vehicles at school times.

The roof seems to have been broken in the process. Bizarrely some of the hay remains inside! Behind it there is a smashed wooden crate - I suspect the the hay rack may have crashed into it as it had been used to ‘block’ the access to the field!

Fortunately the sheep that were in the field had been taken away - presumably for lambing - a few days before.

Not quite derelict - yet….but close enough!
