The King and I!

We went to the Royal Albert Hall to see The Massed Bands of His Magesties Royal Marines. Our yearly adventure!

There was extra security on this occasion. The police were checking our bags. Mr W asked why and he was told there might be a special guest tonight.

Aware that King Charles was the new Captain General of the Royal Marines, we hoped it might be him.... and it was!!!! He was literally just above us in the Royal Box! When he stood up we could see him. I was able to get a Selfie with him too but prefer this picture stolen off Instagram!!

The show was incredible. The best yet. There was a moving tribute to our late Queen and King Charles looked straight at me, smiled and waved! Or thats what it seemed!

A great night made all the more special by seeing our new King!
