Old and modern

A busy day doing things to help out. I walked one of the dogs around Lancaster city centre and saw Dalton Square where Queen Victoria oversees everything, including the colourful flower beds.

The streets were bustling and included the sight of 3 bananas walking down the street. See extra photo. Would Queen Victoria have been amused? Probably a bit too modern.

Some shopping and then nearly 2 hours with our grandson snoozing on my chest. Very peaceful.
