ELO Again

A leisurely Saturday, usual potterings, washing, cleaning, cooking…… C was working in his studio.

Mid aft saw us getting ready to travel to the gig, not C’s this time, but an ELO tribute in Shropshire. Bought the tickets a good while back, plan was to stay over at mine, an hours drive to the venue, but dog sitting has found us in Lincoln, just a mere 2.25 hrs each way!

Journey was awful, so much surface water & it was pouring down but we made it in good time. A nice glass of red helped us relax into what turned out to be a really good night. The band were great, not an easy sound to replicate, but they did a good job, even sang Horace Whimp!!

They looked pretty similar too as you can see. If you get chance to see them, go, it was good fun!!

We got home just after midnight and fell into bed at 01.30….. just a regular Saturday night for us lol
