Abandoned Vehicle

I was wide awake just after 6:00 am this morning.

After a cappuccino and some cereal I headed out on a run. I made up the route as I went along and ended up running over Norland Moor. Many of the moorland paths had turned into streams and other paths were just a mixture of ice, slush, water and mud (see extra). Somehow I managed to stay upright.

A number of fields in the area are currently up for sale and the on line sales blurb says they are "open for inspection during daylight hours" so I took advantage of the offer to get up close to this abandoned quarry truck.

I covered the 6.5 km in 45 min 54 sec.

A 3 km walk this afternoon.
