MOTHER'S DAY - NO. 1

We took Mum out for her Mother's Day treat today to the Cross Key at Slyne--in-Hest near Carnforth because we will be away next Sunday.  

We took her a lovely potted plant arrangement, a couple of cards and little present.  The cards and presents she is leaving until next weekend.

The meal was lovely.  Just a traditional Sunday Roast really but the service was excellent and the food good.  

Weather is very grey - we did see glimpse of blue sky very briefly but that was all.  Still that's better than snow and icy conditions on the roads.

This is Mum and Hubby waiting for our food and drinks to arrive.
