Little boy you’ve had a busy day.

What a happy day.
Our youngest granddaughter, Jennie, was up from Sheffield and came over for morning coffee and stayed for lunch. Then our son rang to see if we could look after Jude for a few hours while he went to play badminton with Jude’s dad. Mum was working.
So it has been a busy day. Jennie stayed for most of the afternoon and loved playing with her ‘ first cousin once removed’. ( Hope I have got that right!)
We waved goodbye to Jennie at about 3.30pm and I sat down with Jude on my knee. In a few minutes he was fast asleep. So it wasn’t only me that was worn out!
He slept until his dad arrived. Woke up. I changed his nappy and he then put all the toys away back into the basket. Got his shoes to put on and they were off home.
He is such a joy. Not surprised he is a favourite at nursery.
Love to have him for a few hours, but nice to relax with a G&T when he has left!

Temperature up to 10C today, and the snow has almost gone.
Wonder what next week has in store?
