Monday: Kitchen View

Time to show you some more of the house.  This is our kitchen - I say ours, it doesn’t really feel like it.    Most of the stuff there is ‘official’ and keeps on disappearing into different cupboards and drawers.  We spend half our time looking for stuff.  

In the background you can see a pillow.  We don’t usually keep pillows in the kitchen.  We found it in the staff quarters but it’s actually ours so we’ve put it there to have a word with the housekeepers tomorrow (as in ‘don’t keep moving our stuff to where we can’t find it).

The bat bite saga continues.  Despite Belize being a high risk country there are no rabies vaccinations in country so we’re now pursuing options through the British army base here.

I know I sound a bit moany but it’s one of those days that’s tried our patience.
