Iconic

One of the ravens at the Tower of London - we are doing all the touristy things as you can see.  In extras is another shot of the raven, and London seen across the bow of the Belfast.  Finally there's a distance shot of a shire horse.  According to the news tonight, they were raking the ground ready to plant a wildflower meadow.  So it's been an animal day one way or another.

Bitterly cold this morning; but the day improved as time went on.  We are starting to get more than a bit weary.  Pounding the pavements is starting to take its toll.  Took time out in Foyle's Book shop - they do have a very nice cafe; but the shop itself left me feeling a bit cold.  Hatchards is better by far, for my tastes.

We were planning to leave London Thursday, but because of the rail strike, we can't get away until Friday.
