I spent the morning planning and sorting the promotion of a yoga workshop I have planned in a few weeks time. I’ve chosen a new venue which is close to a woodland area so we can have a picnic and walk afterwards ( weather permitting)
I met my pal Belle and her dog for a walk around the Crichton . It was snowing when we arrived and then was sunny 1/2 later.
I have just finished watching a talk about the remarkable life of Dr Flora Murray. My local Dumfries Museum is celebrating the life and works of Dr Flora Murray this Women’s History Month. dr Flora Murray was a Suffragette and a pioneering surgeon, she ran a military hospital in World War One with her partner in life and work, Dr Louisa Garrett Anderson. It’s good to learn about and celebrate the achievements of a local lass.
