Napoleon's Battlefield

Fourth country in four days? Yes. Today was Brno, the second largest city in the Czech Republic. (The only reason we're not going to Prague is that it's about four hours away haha.) After Vienna yesterday, Brno paled in comparison, but it's a nice city. My favorite part was climbing to the top of one of the towers and seeing the skyline. As we learned at the museum, this field was the site of the Battle of Austerlitz, also known as the Battle of the Three Emperors, a key battle during Napoleon's campaign to dominate Europe. It's solemn to think about war, the carnage, the grief, and the sacrifices people make, but the history only makes this place more beautiful.
