Sun going down

We had been forecast snow for around lunchtime today but it waited until about 3.30pm and then came down really thickly. What's in the photo fell in about 20 minutes! Reg was very thrilled as it arrived in time for his afternoon walk with Barry. The photo was taken just as the sun was starting to disappear, it was really grey and dark while it was falling.
I walked to a friend's earlier in the day to get some computer tuition from her husband. I've been using my iPad for most online activity but wanted to use my laptop more. Since retiring, almost nine years ago, I have hardly used a "proper" computer and struggled to remember some of the actions I wanted to do. It was a real help and has definitely worked as I am now able to access my photos for blip! Hooray! He showed me how to download them in the correct format. He sorted a few other things which were slowing it down and helped me with some "little problems" I had! Thank you Andy. I also enjoyed coffee and a chat with Kath.
I completed my own online shop this afternoon. I made a quick and easy vegetable pasta and so dinner was easily sorted.
I did have a little practice in the evening with the laptop and all was good. I still haven't been able to connect my earbuds although I was able to pair them. A little more practise required or maybe a bit more instruction!
Mum had a good day today too and was quite jolly. Unfortunately she has lost a filling today which has been done a couple of times so is hoping to get a dental appointment soon. We definitely don't want a repeat of a couple of weeks ago!
Grateful:
For a husband who doesn't mind walking Reg in the snow
For friends with technical knowhow
For the ability to still learn new things
