Marble caves

Today we were in in the town of Puerto Río Tranquilo on the shores of Lake General Carrera, specifically to take a small boat out and explore the marble caves. They are breathtakingly beautiful. The weather was kind to us with calm waters and sunshine and I could have stayed all day. I found it difficult to choose my favourite photo so a couple of extras had to be included.

Tonight we have arrived in Cerro Castillo after a torturous drive along the winding Carretera Austral, just 120 kms taking us about 4 hours :-) Beer and dinner beckons.
