Perfect Weather

The view from the kitchen window reveals blue sky and sunshine, something we have almost forgotten. The little white cloud emerging from behind Annadel State Park is a reminder that winter isn't quite over yet. More rain is predicted for later in the week. But today we are enjoying the warm sun and almost cloudless sky, and Spike enjoyed a walk to a very soggy meadow. Spring Lake is very full and very muddy. It's perfect weed pulling weather  and there are plenty of those. We look forward to one more springlike day before the rain returns.

Many thanks for all the birthday wishes. I will respond to all of them soon, but am cutting things short today so I can take a little nap before making dinner for Paul whose wife was supposed to be home  from Capetown on Saturday but has had to put off her return until next week because she caught Covid.
