It has to be Glasgow

I returned from Edinburgh to Lancaster today. Because of rail works and bus replacement services I opted for a route via Glasgow and Carlisle.

Everything worked well. The trains were on time. It just took 5 hours travel.

We have been watching the TV series The Piano which has been fascinating and at times moving. One programme was filmed in Glasgow Central station.

No sign of a piano today. Just a giant can of Irn Bru promoting the comedy festival. Maybe next time.
