Wow!

Today a friend and I cycled 40 km., in the middle of which we visited a Raptor centre.we saw many amazing birds, a lot of then rescues. All of them born and raised in captivity-- so no wild captures.( oops except the rescues- they may have been hit by a car, shot by an idiot, or some other damaging thing. They of course were not captive born) the people at the centre are obviously very attached to these animals and take very good care of them.
This blip is of an eight year old Golden Eagle. She is moulting , so is not at her most beautiful, but boy is she impressive. She is very attached to the woman handling her, she has known her and interacted with her, all her life.
