CAMELLIA THURSDAY

While walking to an appointment, I was stopped in my tracks by this Japanese
CAMELLIA flower, in front of an office building. This is my absolute favorite kind of all the Camellias.

It was flowering on a neglected shrub that
was bravely trying to produce a few
perfect flowers. Meanwhile, my Camellias.
at home, are irrigated, fertilized & babied, but refused to bloom this year.

This flower may have been my reward for
all the work I did & the time spent hurrying from place to place, today.

I’ll take it.
