Spuds and springtime

Yet another wet day! We went down town for the usual - fish, library and newspaper - but no weather to be out and about Blipping!

I was supposed to be giving a talk to U3A on Monday, but as I couldn't promise to be fighting fit and free of the cold the talk has been put off for a week, so I hope I'll be fit to talk for an hour then!

My EB today is a picture from the greenhouse - some divisions of my Gold-laced polyanthus and a couple of trays of chitting seed potatoes.  'Foremost' is a First Early and 'King Edward' a maincrop. It's quite hard to imagine spring arriving and being down at the Walled Garden getting veggies planted and sown!
