Morning mist

Early morning provided todays blip of mist in the low lying vale between the apartment and the hills beyond Derwentwater.

Another better day, although the rain couldn’t quite bring itself to hold off. After leaving the accommodation we had an excellent breakfast at Lingholm then spend a goodly amount of time in Keswick ambling around the market and popping in and out of the many outdoor shops. A little money may have been spent.

This evening we went to see the Jay Walkers at Threlkeld village hall with Adam, an entertaining trio playing a mixture of.country, Americana and bluegrass tunes
