Eyes are now open

The blackbird chicks now have their eyes open and feeding pretty much non-stop. The parents must be exhausted. I have watched them going in, to feed the chicks one after the other.
What good parents they are.
Talking of good parents, being Mothering Sunday we had everyone around but I didn't cook (I'm the bad parent!). It was Marlane's idea to get fast food to make it easy all round. 
It was a very funny day, horrendously noisy with the children running around, screaming and laughing, but they did have a great time doing it.
