In my garden today, the winter aconites are blooming and the crocus are starting to bloom. There is the occasional snowdrop here and there, plus a patch of snowdrops on the far side of the door. It was sunny this afternoon and a temperature of +5 C. I drove by one of my client's gardens this afternoon, she has crocus and dwarf iris in bloom now.
I'm going to watch a show on TV tonight, called Sullivan's Crossing. The author Robyn Carr wrote a series of books based in Sullivan's Crossing, and I have read some of them. The series was filmed here in Nova Scotia, some of it in Eastern Passage.
The cardinal was singing this morning, and he poked his head out of the forsythia long enough for me to get a photo.
My after brunch walk today was at The Public Gardens. Brunch was held on the Halifax side of the harbour, so I decided to stay on that side for a walk.
