Mists from Latrigg

Woke up at 7, opened the curtains to thick mist and was at the top of Latrigg by 7.30.

The mist didn't hang around for long, as rain was moving in from Borrowdale. The main pic shows the mist as I arrived - in the bottom of the valley between Derwentwater and Bassenthwaite Lake. The extra was the last photo I took - you can see the rain movong in from the far end of the lake, but the mist still swirling in the mid-ground. I thought it quite unusual to see mist below and clouds above in the same picture.
