First Daffodil

You know Spring is on it's way when you see daffodils and at last we have one in the garden. I hadn't spotted it before because it is growing in the middle of a large shrub, a potentilla I think, though don't hold me to that. I never planted any bulbs there, why would I?

Some of the ones that I actually planted are also threatening to come out, but there are no flowers so far.

Camera club this evening, a visit to Cirencester College to investigate future collaborations.
