This is Primula Belarina “ Lively Lilac “
A horticulturists creation rather than a wild plant I think.
But nice to have in the greenhouse at this time of year.

If you are wondering about all that sand. The bench down one side of the greenhouse is a sand box. The sandis about six inches deep. Plants are grown in clay pots which are buried in the sand. In Summer the sand is watered and the pots absorb what they need. In Winter the sand helps to protect the roots from frost.
