Breakfast #2

Not as early as yesterday and a bit more of a drive but twenty-eight local veterans met up for the monthly breakfast, and what a breakfast. Quite possibly one of the best I have had for a long time and once again Mrs S, herself a veteran, missed it.
We were joined for breakfast by one of our local councillors who after being bored by me for thirty minutes or so moved off to field questions from other diners. After dropping a friend home I made it back in time for a coffee and to change before heading off to St Ives to watch Falmouth 2’s in the cup quarter finals.
7-0 down at half time Falmouth came out 10-22 winners and move on to the semi’s a good afternoon spent into the fresh air.
Back to Falmouth for a Guinness or three whilst watching England slide to the inevitable defeat.
Ham, egg and chips with a film to round off the day.
